Want to work with us? Awesome!
We are looking for a couple of people to join our team this year.
Here’s who we are looking for below:
Office/Communications Manager
We’re looking for an office manager to join our team.
Here’s a little about the job:
Our office manager is responsible for answering the phone, inputting orders into Shopify, maintaining our Shopify website daily/weekly, helping to connect our customers with what they need, and replying to their emails and social media inquiries. You’ll need to be able to troubleshoot/problem solve with technology (and people!). Our office manager also runs our flower delivery program, using software to create delivery routes, schedule delivery drivers, write the cards for the orders, coordinate vehicle maintenance, and communicate between the delivery drivers and our floral design studio as needed. Our office manager also wraps the floral bouquets and arrangements for the delivery program daily.
Please note that this is not a floral job.
You’ll be working in our office at our barn, with the phone and on the computer. There are flowery perks, of course, but this is an administrative position.
Skills we’re looking for:
We need someone with strong phone and computer skills. You’ll need to feel comfortable and confident in making phone calls and receiving them. You’ll be working primarily with Shopify and Excel, so experience in those systems is an asset. We also use Adobe and GSuite (Google Drive/Calendar), so experience with those systems helps.
We’re looking for someone who can work Tuesday-Friday 8-4 or 9-5. We work year round, with the exception of an unpaid shutdown from December 25th-January 7/8th-ish, where we take a winter break. Because our business relies heavily on seasonal floral holidays, availability at Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas is a must. We’re able to be flexible the rest of the year for time off/holidays, but floral holidays are all hands on deck and extra hours/occasional weekend shifts will be needed at those times.
Compensation: $21/h

Farmstand Team Member/Retail Sales Clerk
We’re looking for someone to work full time in our farmstand. If you have a working knowledge of plants and flowers, great customer service skills, and are looking for an opportunity that includes working both indoors and outdoors, this might be a great position for you.
Here’s a little about the job:
Our farmstand team member is responsible for opening, operating and closing our retail shop. You’ll be responsible for receiving plant and flower shipments, pricing them, and displaying them/merchandising the displays. You’ll be ringing customers through for purchases, wrapping flowers, and helping customers make their choices on indoor and outdoor plants as well as vegetable seedlings in the summer. If you are not well versed in plants and flowers and gardening that’s ok, as long as you are a quick study and self motivated to learn about our offerings.
Skills we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone with hospitality skills. We want our customers to feel welcome and well served, and in the summer we have lots of folks travelling from the city to enjoy a day out in the country, with our shop and farm being one of their stops. Strong cash skills are required, as are iPad/tech skills/tech troubleshooting skills. You’ll be required to lift up to 50lb comfortably (our winter planters are heavy, and you’ll need to be able to move them around).
We’re looking for someone who can work Tuesday-Saturday 8:30-5. We work year round, with the exception of an unpaid shutdown from December 25th-January 7/8th-ish, where we take a winter break. Because our business relies heavily on seasonal floral holidays, availability on Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas is a must. We’re able to be flexible the rest of the year for time off/holidays, but floral holidays are all hands on deck and extra hours/occasional weekend shifts will be needed at those times.
A few things to note:
You’ll be working in all weather conditions. There is an outdoor element to our work (since we are a farm) and you’ll be going inside/outside each day to get plants out of the greenhouses in the spring and summer, and to work with our outdoor winter planters, wreaths, fresh Christmas trees, etc. in the winter. This is a job where you’ll be on your feet most of the day. In the spring/summer you’ll be helping to water outdoor plants, and some light weeding will be required.
Compensation: $19/h
