Arranging your own flowers can be so rewarding! There's something so satisfying about getting creative and adding your own special touches to your big day. For years we've been offering bulk buckets of blooms for weddings, parties and other events. Our customers are able to create magic with our locally grown flowers, and these blooms elevate any event and make a party truly special. Inevitably, questions will come up as you get ready to work with your blooms. We’re here to walk you through the process and answer your most frequently asked questions.
How to pick up your bulk flowers:
Flowers can NOT ride in the back of a pickup truck, as they will be damaged by the wind.
Please bring a mini van with the seats down to ensure that there is plenty of room for your flowers, or ensure that you have a sedan with nothing else in the back seats, if you have a smaller order to pick up. We don’t want to squish your flowers and risk breaking anything.
Make flower pickup a separate trip, it’s hard to place flowers safely in a vehicle full of other wedding items.

No need to bring your own containers, your order will be prepared in water and you may take your flowers home in these buckets. Once you arrive at your destination make sure to top the buckets up with more water. We keep water levels low so they will not spill while you travel, but the flowers are thirsty. Add more water immediately on arrival to your destination.

This is especially important during the hot summer months, as flowers may wilt if they get too warm. A cool and dark basement, or an air conditioned room is perfect. Keep your flowers away from sunny windows, and away from fresh fruit (fruit gives off ethylene gas, which is detrimental to the longevity of fresh flowers). Do NOT place fresh flowers outside in a tent the day/night before a wedding or an event. It's simply too warm in a tent, and we don't want you to risk having your flowers wilt. We recommend that you bring your flowers into a tent/venue 1-2 hours before your event starts.

Here’s what you'll need:
✂️ A sharp pair of pruning shears
We love using ARS Fruit Pruners, and you can find them on Amazon.
If you're looking to invest in a higher quality pair of shears that will last you for years, Felco shears are the best, and a staple of your design studio tool box.
NEVER use dollar store scissors or a serrated knife to cut flowers. This will damage the flowers and make it impossible for them to drink properly, resulting in them wilting prematurely.
After your stems have been out of water for any longer than 10 minutes, they will need a fresh cut before being placed back in water. Make sure you keep your vases topped up with water, flowers will drink more than you might imagine, especially during the heat of the summer. There is no need to add anything additional to the water. Plenty of fresh clean water is all that your flowers will need to thrive.
