Beachberry Tulip Bulbs - COMING SEPTEMBER 6TH AT 5PM

Beachberry is a remarkable smokey mauve and dusty plum colour, with elegant layers of stacked petals. We first spotted this tulip several years ago on a trip to Holland, and we've been coveting it ever since.

If you want to perennialize your tulips, it’s important to leave at least two sets of leaves on the stem when harvesting to replenish the bulb and give it energy to bloom the following season. Here at Dahlia May, we grow our tulips for cut flower production, meaning that we treat our tulips as annuals, and pull up the entire plant, bulb and all, during harvest. In your home garden, there is no need to lift the bulb in the spring after flowering. Allow the foliage of your plant to die back naturally after blooming, as this process aids in feeding the bulb for the subsequent year.
